Let's celebrate!

 For the last piece of the puzzle, I chose to color a mandala from that paper covered 
with velvet.  The colors are shiny and metallic, including the corners of the page.
 

Ultima lucrare este o mandala pe hartie acoperita cu catifea.
Culorile sunt stralucitoare si metalice, inclusiv in colturi.

This is the end of the November journey! It was an amazing challenge and 
I am grateful I could participate this year. I worked,  learned, discovered 
new things and ideas. And I saw also amazing creations, a real
bouquet of  colors and imaginations.

A rocket to Universe!

A little bit unusual to start from a photo of an object. A zip for the letter Z!
You can see it in the next image.

The two layers card is  painted with watercolors, the rocket is heat embossing
and the little stars are done with a marker. 

Am pornit de la imaginea unui fermoar! Culorile sunt din
acuarele, racheta realizata prin embosare iar pentru stelute
am folosit un marker!

A simple project at the end of the alphabet! :)

Day28 - Y

This is a simple card using the same technique like in the day 18 ( 'paper tearing').
Four types of paper including a transparent one and a painted sheet in yellow 
are bonded on a board, stock size.
Between the first two is a yellow realized with heat embossing. I added four
snowflakes done with a hobby puncher and everything else are very thin stickers.

Am folosit aceeasi tehnica a fasiilor de hartie. Patru tipuri incluzand
calc galben si o coala vopsita sunt lipite pe un carton de
felicitari. Intre primele doua este o zona realizata prin embosare
la cald. Fulgii sunt realizati cu perforatorul iar celelalte elemente
reprezinta stickere autoadezive foarte subtiri.

This is a new bookmark with a lots of 'X',  meaning a specific sign (cross) used
for  Romanian traditional outfit. This time the sign is drawn on a white board,
in red and black. As embellishment I used a self adhesive lace.
 

Un nou semn de carte avand multe X-uri - semnul cruciulitei
din cusaturile romanesti, realizat pe carton alb, in rosu si negru.
Pentru ornare am adaugat o dantela autoadeziva.

Day26 - W

Beccy's Challenge - Day 26-Letter W - A special wreath

The Day 26 for the November Challenge on Beccy's Place
Ziua 26 a provocarii lunii noiembrie, pe Blogul lui Beccy.

The project is based on a round part from the velvet paper I used  for  letter V.
Under it is a paper with holes already drilled. Both are bonded on a board,
stock size. The shiny lines are done with a metallic yarn. The white areas are
painted with acrylics. The other elements: the snowflakes (in the corners)
and little flowers are bonded.
 

Piesa centrala face parte din hartia acoperita cu catifea, utilizata
pentru litera V. Sub ea este o hartie deja gaurita, pe care am cusut-o
cu fir metalic. Ambele sunt lipite pe un carton pentru felicitari.
Celelalte elemente: fulgii si floricelele sunt lipite.

On this second entry for letter V, I used for the flowers a special velvet powder.
It is used on a surface covered with glue,  preferable transparent. And it has 
velvet touch. I don't have practice to use it, so the appearance is not perfect,
but I wanted to share this interesting material.
For the rest: markers, brush pens,  acrylics and a waved cut with hobby scissors.

Pentru aceasta lucrare am folosit o pudra 'catifea'. Se foloseste
pe o suprafata acoperita cu lipici, dand efectul catifelei. Experienta
mea in utilizare este limitata si suprafata nu este uniforma, dar
materialul este interesant, asa ca am vrut sa vi-l arat.
Suplimentar am folosit markere, carioci si acrilice si un foarfece
cu model pentru taietura.

Velvet game

For this day I decide to use some pieces remained from a diy velvet paper.
The velvet is black. The white geometries  were part of the original. 
There are bonded on a white board, stock size. The white surface is colored
with markers and acrylics.  

Geometria este realizata cu bucati dintr-o foaie acoperita cu
o catifea neagra cu model. Baza este un carton alb pentru felicitari.
Zonele albe sunt colorate cu acrilice si markere colorate.

'Ribbon embroidery' - Beccy's creation

This time I explored a little bit the "undertones" technique", shared by Beccy
and I applied it on the above image.
You can see in the squares, on the first row the undertones colors and on the
second one, the same colors covered with the red (first on the second row).

Acestea sunt culorile folosite pentru tehnica straturilor: pe primul
rand  direct pe alb. Pe randul doi, aceleasi culori acoperite cu
rosu (prima pozitie de pe randul doi.)

 The card has three layers, as you can see. The second one is shiny with a delicate
 pattern. The base is a blue card, stock size. The flowers are colored with pencils
 and some embellishment  added with shiny markers.

Felicitarea are trei straturi, din care cel din mijloc este lucitor,
cu un model usor embosat. Baza este un carton de felicitari
albastru. Pentru flori am folosit creioane colorate. Efectele
sunt realizate cu markere stralucitoare.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 23-Letter T - Two images from one tree

Starting from the technique that Beccy shared with us, I used a silicone stamp
with a Christmas tree sufficient big and after I colored it, I cut it in half.
But instead of using the parts on two cards, I bonded them on one board, 
trimming the parts like in the photos. The stickers - snowflakes make a 
connection between the both sides. 

Am pornit de la o imagine creata printr-o stampila de
silicon , pe care dupa ce am colorat-o am taiat-o pe
jumatate si am taiat-o si lipit-o ca in imagini. Am adaugat
fulgi de zapada (stickere) care conecteaza jumatatile.

Christmas chessboard!

This is the second card for letter S.  The background is a painted board with
more layers of acrylics, the final being a copper color. For the 'chessboard'
I used again the 'le Soleil' from day 6. The letters (metalic) and the bird are
bonded.  On the top it is a self adhesive lace.

Pentru a doua lucrare la litera S, am folosit un fundal  pictat,
ultima nuanta fiind culoarea cuprului. Pentru 'tabla de sah'
am folosit din nou imaginea din ziua a 6-a. Literele (metalice)
si pasarea sunt lipite. Pe marginea de sus este o dantela autoadeziva.

Christmas atmosphere!

It is a very simple card, with a grey background, on which I used twice
a long silicone stamp. In addition there are  five stickers: three
snowflakes and two baubles. Two hearts are also stamped.
For  edges and corners I used acrylics. 

Un carton de felicitari l-am stampilat de doua ori cu o stampila de
silicon. Suplimentar am pus cinci stickere: trei fulgi de nea si
doua globuri. Am stampilat si doua inimioare. Marginile
si colturile sunt pictate cu acrilice

Day 21 - Scrap

Christmas fiction!

For this card I used different small pieces from other hobby exercises or even
test parts. The base is a stock card on which I tested a white marker. No pattern 
at all: just lines and small stars filling the surface. Added colors are shiny acrylic.
I used two new materials: lace in the upper corners and paper foam for the tree.
The small parts become a Christmas fiction! Good for them... :)

O felicitare formata din mici bucatele de test sau din alte incercari
de bricolaj. Baza este un carton pentru felicitari pe care am testat
un marker alb. Culorile adaugate sunt acrilice stralucitoare.
Mai apar doua materiale noi: dantela si putin dintr-o foaie de
spuma, pentru brad.

Day 20 - R

A red entrance in a Portal...

The time came for two pieces: a board (card stock) in different colors used
random and a sort of die cut star. I used heat embossing technique 
for the star - with red powder, of course- and in the  corners of the base. 
In addition for  letter R, some rhinestones embellished the surface.
In the center is a big one, whereas  seven small hearts are bonded on a small  
round and shiny piece of board. Also, in the central area I added effects with 
a shiny marker and some red glitter in the spaces around the petals.

Pentru acest proiect am utilizat doua elemente aflate in asteptare:
o baza colorata divers pe carton de felicitari si o geometrie de stea
cu opt petale realizata cu o matrita. Folosind embosarea la cald am
colorat centrul cu rosu si colturile bazei. Am adaugat strasuri:
unul circular central si sapte inimioare pe un cerc auriu si cateva
efecte de auriu si sclipici rosu, in zona exterioara petalelor.

This is my project for letter R! A little bit complicated, but this kind of 
entrances  are always complicated! :)

'Quilted horse' - Beccy's creation

This time is a new bookmark, created from a white board, painted with acrylics
and markers, without a regular pattern. On it is bonded the horse image 
printed, cut around and colored with markers, a small frame divided in two
and a piece of mesh, aligned under the horse. A green ribbon is added.

Am realizat tot un semn de carte, din carton alb colorat cu acrilice
si markere, fara un aspect uniform. Pe el am lipit: imaginea calutului
tiparita, decupata si colorata cu markere, o mica rama impartita in
doua si o bucata de plasa aliniata sub calut. Am adaugat o panglica verde.
