Beccy's Challenge - Day 5 - Letter E An embossed star

The Day 5 for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
Ziua 5 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

The base of the project is a white cardboard stock size, painted in a light
yellow neon. On the edges is a tape with small stars.
As central piece  is a red star from a transparent paper with a patern from
little snowflakes. I embossed the edges of the star and the center.
The dots, the trees and the bird are punched. The other  corner elements
are stickers. In addition, I added shiny watercolors.

Pe un carton alb colorat in galben deschis neon, am pus pe
laterale banda adeziva cu model. Steaua centrala este din
hartie transparenta cu model, embosata pe margini si central.
Cercurile, bradutii si pasarea sunt perforati. In celelalte colturi
sunt stickere, iar culorile adaugate sunt acuarele stralucitoare.

Day 4 - D

Beccy's Challenge - Day 3 - Letter C Christmas Tree between circles

The Day 3 for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
Ziua 3 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

This is a simple card. I passed the cardboard through an embossing tool,
creating a pattern with circles. I painted the background with a light yellow
neon. The Christmas tree was obtained by heat embossing, using a stamp.
In three corners are heat embossing dots.
The used colors are: watercolors and gel markers.
The snowflakes are stickers.

Felicitarea este realizata pe un carton trecut printr-o unealta
de embosare cu cercuri. Fundalul este pictat galben pal neon,
celelalte culori provin din acuarele si markere cu gel.
Am adaugat si trei fulgi stickere.

Day 2 - B

Provocari Verzi (24) & TC2024 - Aprilie - La indigo Felicitare cu iepuras

Am vrut atat de mult sa fac o o felicitare embosata, incat, desi am folosit
una din imaginile pentru tema saptamanii a doua -  'La indigo', nu am respectat
tema lunii de a folosi ambalaje, asa ca nu o voi introduce in tabelul lui Niko.
Voi relua tema pentru Transformari creative. Insa o introduc la
Provocari Verzi - Salvam papusi III #06 - Sapte dintr-o lovitura (6/7), in al  doilea
tabel, fiind intarziata.

Imaginea de pornire a fost:

Tot in oglinda a iesit...
Dupa cum vedeti, am tiparit imaginea pe un calc mai gros, de culoare vernil.
Si apoi am lucrat-o cu acea unealta cu varful rotund, adaugand si niste perforatii.
Pe contur am facut cerculete. Scopul lor nu a fost doar decor. Pe zona de
margine am lipit si speram sa se estompeze lipiciul. A iesit rezonabil, dar tot am
mai adaugat niste acuarela.
Pentru a colora am folosit creioane, markere, acuarele si acrilice.

Piticul meu s-a linistit. Sunt multe lucruri de observat la aceasta tehnica, insa
imi place. Poate pentru ca ma uimeste cum apar urmele albe pe calc. Ceea ce este
periculos, pentru ca orice urma se vede. Nu se mai poate corecta, din pacate.
Asa ca trebuie improvizat in caz ca...😊
Nu este un iepuras prea complicat, insa mie imi place. Atat ca nu e pufos...

Beccy's Challenge - Day 15 - Letter M An experiment with metal

The Day 15  for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
Ziua 15 a provocarii lunii noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

As a matter of fact this project is a sum of experiments. The sheet is from a
metal can and is square, with the side of 10 cm, prepared for a kind of wood
frame, as you can see below. Initially I wanted to use napkins to cover the
frame. But, I wanted to try something else. I saw once how to peel off a thick
paper using packing tape, so I used the method on that red piece from a
gift bag, which is very rigid. From two steps I succeeded to make it thinner
and I bonded it easily in the same way of using napkins.

After that, I started to emboss the metal, with the specific tools with round
tips. The shape used as a model, was a metallic cutting die. It was not the
perfect choise, because the cut outs were very narrow. After I created the
geometry on the sheet, I had to come again and deepened al the areas.
The next step,  I worked on the face, for a better look.
Initially I wanted to paint it, but I had no time to discover how to use
acrylics on such a surface. I have no materials for painting metal so
I had the idea of using an imitation of gold foil. I did not check how to
use it on metal, so being experimental, I used  the shellac compound
for bonding and for protection. For the moment seems to be OK.
And I added my favorite metallic blue, even it's far away to look good... 😊

Proiectul este realizat dintr-o bucata de metal provenind dintr-o
doza de suc si are latura de 10cm, calibrata pe o rama de lemn.
Acoperirea ramei am facut-o cu hartie de la o punga de cadou,
pe care am experimentat decojirea cu banda deziva. Am lipit-o
ca pe servetele. Metalul l-am embosta la rece, urmarind modelul
unei stante metalice. Acoperirea am facut-o cu imitatie de foita
de aur, pentru ca nu stiu cum sa folosesc corect acrilicele pe
metal. Si am condimentat cu putin albastru metalic, cu o
estetica asa si asa...😊 Data viitoare va fi mai bine...

This was quite a story for letter M, with so many other subjects to check
and to reload the ideas...

Day 14 - Letter L

Transformari creative (39) Suport de telefon si nu numai...

Anul 2023 va fi un an special. Niko ne provoaca la o aventura creativa
deosebita, prin reciclarea diverselor tipuri de materiale.
Luna octombrie are ca subiect: 'tuburi de hartie'.
Proiect  Constructie (saptamana 1).

Este un suport de telefon. A iesit cam dezastruos. Tubul de hartie (igienica)
nu a fost bun pentru un astfel de scop.  L-am acoperit cu banda de aluminiu
autocolanta. Am practicat o fanta pe care am mai lipit si niste banda adeziva
holografica. L-am sprijinit cu un plastic roz, salvat de la a fi aruncat impreuna
cu alte maruntisuri, de la nepotica!😊 L-am lipit cu 'hot glue'.

M-am bucurat totusi ca nu se rostogoleste. Sta bine in suport.
Designul insa trebuie sa suporte niste modificari.

Mai adaug o utilizare a unui tub mai rigid, ca nu e nimic facut la el,
pe post de suport intr-un dulap ingust:

 

Daca dulapul este mai lat, puteti pune doua tuburide de diametre diferite,
unul culisand in celalalt, functie de dimensiunea dorita. Nu e cine stie ce inginerie,
dar e util sa nu imi cada chiar totul cand scot ceva de acolo! 😂

Beccy's Challenge - Day 22 - Letter T A card in a techno style...

 The Day 22 for the November Challenge on Beccy's Place.
 Ziua 22 a provocarii lunii noiembrie, pe blogul lui Beccy.

There is always a way of escape!

I used the black cardboard from the letter S (without the area of snowflake).
I embossed it with a tool that you can see in the image, punched it to obtain
some holes and after that I bonded it on a silver cardboard.
The next steps: painting with blue the embossed shapes, bonding the 'gear'
in the central area, adding a sticker with a reindeer and some accents with
gel pens.

Pentru acest proiect am utilizat cartonul de la litera S din care
decupasem fulgul, l-am embosat cu un aparat dedicat, perforat
in cateva locuri si apoi lipit pe un carton argintiu. Pasii urmatori
au fost: pictarea cu albastru a formelor embosate, lipirea in
zona centrala a 'angrenajului', lipirea stickerului cu ren si
adaugarea catorva accente cu pixuri cu gel.

This time was a techno style, not very complicated!

Day 21 - S

Beccy's Challenge - Day 17 - Letter OAn oval with trees

 The Day 17 for the November Challenge on Beccy's Place.
 Ziua 17 a provocarii lunii noiembrie, pe blogul lui Beccy.

On a green background is bonded  an oval white cardboard.
The trees are embossed with a small tool.  You see it in the image below.
The position of the two pieces come in place with three magnets.
Around the oval you may see a light pattern. It comes from an
embossing folder, but used only for a touch of the green surface,
with a color from a blue pad.
For coloring: gel pens for trees, the 'ikat' pattern and punched corners,
and shiny white acrylic around trees. On top of white area
I added an ornament, self adhesive.

Pe un fundal verde am lipit un carton alb, oval pe care am
embosat cativa braduti cu unealta din imagine. In jurul lui
este un usor model provenind de la un sablon de embosare,
utilizat doar pentru amprenta. Colorarea realizata cu: pixuri
cu gel pentru brazi, modelul stil 'ikat' si colturile perforate.
In zona de sus am aadugat un ornament autocolant.

A simple combination of oval and ornament is my creation for today.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 3 - Letter C - A pattern with circles

The Day 3 for the November Challenge on Beccy's Place.
Ziua 3 a provocarii lunii noiembrie, pe Blogul lui Beccy.

 

Materials and techniques:

No. of layers: 1 - white cardboard (stock size) on which I created a background with a stamp;
Additional effects: embossed circles created with a paper crimper;
Additional elements: green glitter on a double sided adhesive tape and a punched star;
Used colors:  blue from a pad for the background stamp, gel crayons for the circles,
green shiny marker for the Christmas tree.

Pe baza alba am creat un fundal prin stampilare; apoi am embosat-o
cu un model cu cercuri pe care le-am colorat cu creioane cu gel;
bradul are o baza sclipicioasa si restul conturului e realizat
cu un marker verde, stralucitor, steluta din varf este stantata.

Spring is in the air!

This project is my entry for
'March challenge' - on Beccy's  Place;
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional green';
Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - 'A project with a bunny'.

The central image of this project is from Beccy's site, 'Ballerina Bunny'.

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- three bonded layers cardboard project: a green base, a white layer
  with a pattern created using  an embossing folder (EFE007) and
  the  last one with the printed image and shaped accordingly;
- for coloring I used usual tools: brushes, brush pens, gold marker,
  glitter markers, pencils.
 

Felicitarea este formata din trei straturi lipite: o baza de carton
verde, o alta alba embosata si pe ultima pe care am tiparit
imaginea iepurasului si am ajustat-o pentru zona centrala;
pentru colorare am folosit obisnuitele creioane, carioci, pensule.

Clematis in December

 This project is my entry for 'December challenge' - on Beccy's  Place.

I used a free image, created by Beccy, using a lovely technique that she
remembered us: embossing.

I printed the image on tracing paper and embossed it. After that I bonded
it between two layers: a yellow one with a cutout and a brown cardboard as
background support.
The flowers are colored with markers. As embellishment I added glitter-
blue and gold, sparkles -silver and red  (fixed on self adhesive tape) and in two
corners the ornaments are obtained with a template.

Imaginea am printat-o pe calc, pe care apoi l-am embosat si
fixat intre un carton galben cu decupare si un carton maro ca baza
in spate; pentru flori am folosit carioci; am adaugat sclipici si paiete
pe banda autoadeziva si niste geometrii utilizand un sablon.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 12 - Fiction composition

 Day 12 on Beccy's November Challenge

 

The central geometry was copied from the surface of a bottle of wine on a
red transparent paper (tracing paper) and I embossed the image.
I confess that I bought it especially for the pattern!

 

 

Imaginea, embosata la rece, am preluat-o de pe suprafata
unei sticle; embosarea este pe calc, lipit pe negru si totul
lipit pe carton rosu; culorile sunt auriu si albastru in doua
nuante si auriu dintr-o tusiera; stelutele sunt stantate.
