This project is my entry for the next challenges:

'December Challenge' on Beccy's place;

Adventul Fotografic al Exploratorului Creativ (AFEC) gazduit de Niko.
Exista o galerie de imagini si o galerie de ornamente, unde putem introduce creatiile noastre.

I did this card for two projects. The tree is Beccy's creation, from a Christmas tree set.
The shiny background and the sentiment were offered in the Niko's game.
Felicitarea am facut-o pe cartonul stralucitor oferit de Niko, utilizand un bradut
din setul de Craciun al lui Beccy. Textul a fost tot din ziua 23.

The image was printed, shaped and bonded on the shiny background.
For coloring I used watercolors, acrylics (for external dots), shiny markers
and liners for globes.

Imaginea este tiparita, decupata si lipita pe
fundalul stralucitor. pentru a o colora am folosit
acuarele, acrilice (pentru punctele exterioare),
markere stralucitoare si un liner pentru globuri.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 30 - Do what you love A mandala on velvet

The Day 30 for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
 Ziua 30 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

I love many things to do. Too many, as a matter of fact. I want to find an idea
of weaving them together, if it would be possible! 😊 This time I did again
a mandala on velvet, the last one I had from a set.
For the interior I used my glitter pens. But for the corners, I bonded some
colored flakes with the usual technique for thin metal foil. I do not know exactly
what I did wrong, that  some areas appear with no flakes. I suspect the cure times.
So I added some blue acrylic in  the gaps. And I think the effect was OK.

De data asta am făcut-o din nou o mandala pe catifea, ultima
pe care am avut-o dintr-un set. Pentru interior am folosit pixurile
mele cu sclipici. Dar pentru colțuri am lipit niște fulgi colorați
cu tehnica obișnuită pentru folie metalică subțire. Nu știu exact cu
ce am greșit. Bănuiesc că din cauza timpilor de uscare. Efectul a fost
ca pe suprafete apar niste zone fara fulgi. Așa că am adăugat
niște acrilic albastru în goluri. Și cred că efectul a fost OK.

sharing their art. It was fun, interesting, sometimes complicated, but never boring.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 29 - Letter Z A Zentangle image

For the Day 26 I did two pieces with the same mistake. The cut outs where
only marked. The second one is used here, for a zentangle image.
The snowflake is bonded in the middle of a square (side ~ 9 cm), a geometry
dedicated to this technique.
Even if I saw different patterns, I did not follow a special one.  I started with
a sort of 'frame' and I continued, somehow random. After that, I used  in some
areas glitter pens.

Pentru Ziua 26 am făcut două piese cu aceeași greșeală.
Decupările au fost doar marcate. Al doilea este folosit aici,
pentru o imagine zentangle. Fulgul de nea este lipit în mijlocul
unui pătrat (latura ~ 9 cm), o geometrie dedicată acestei tehnici.
Chiar daca am văzut modele diferite, nu am urmat vreunul
special. Am început cu un fel de „cadru” și am mers mai departe,
cumva aleatoriu. Am folosit îpe anumite zone,  pixuri cu sclipici.

I discovered a link with many patterns of zentagles, if you want to explore.
Also, here is a link with a comparison between zendoole and zentangle, because
I still have questions about the differencies.

Day 28 - Y

For this project I created an yellow page with adhesive tapes, different types,
again for the bargello technique. I used it for a frame on a white cardboard.
Inside, all the pieces are from a wrapping paper.
Supplementary, the background is painted with yellow watercolor and I added
stickers and some glitter drops.
With a glitter pen I did small circles in some areas.

Pentru acest proiect am creat o pagină galbenă cu benzi adezive,
diferite tipuri, din nou pentru tehnica bargello. Am folosit-o pentru o
rama pe un carton alb. În interior, toate piesele sunt dintr-o hârtie
de împachetat. Suplimentar, fundalul este pictat cu acuarelă
galbenă și am adăugat autocolante și câteva picături de sclipici.
Cu un pix stralucitor am făcut cercuri mici în unele zone.

I used another sample in the dendritic style, with three colors, but this time it
was the second cardboard over the colors, meaning that there are smaller
white spaces and the colors are not formed very high. The dendritic forms
are more delicate.
Around the colored space there is a frame created with X Tras adhesive foil.
The little squares are the remaining pieces after I cut the strips.
In addition, I added some stickers.

I'm glad I started to use the samples. There are so random, that is difficult to
decide how to go on with them...

Day 26 - W

The Day 26  for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
Ziua 26 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

The background  is white, even it looks... pale!
I was very upset because the huge white snowflake should have been with
small cutouts. But I still can not use correctly a small cutting machine.
So I did it incomplete. The areas are only marked and I colored them.
On the laterals is a holographic tape.
'Merry Christmas' is a sticker. My writing is far away to be good. 😊
The small trees are punched in a shiny adhesive material.
I added small shiny dots on the background.

Pe un carton alb am lipit un fulg facut incomplet cu o masinuta,
pe care inca nu o stapanesc. De aceea in loc de decupari, au fost
doar amprente. Acolo sunt culorile. Pe laterale este o banda
adeziva holografica. Scrisul este un sticker. Iar bradutii sunt
perforati intr-un material autoadeziv. In fundal este si putin sclipici.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 25 - Letter V A strange collage around the velvet

The Day 25  for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
Ziua 25 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

The base of this project is a cardboard with an winter pattern.
Around a pentagon shape, on double sided adhesive tape, I put
velvet powder, different colors. Also, there is one area with glitter
poured on the tape. For creating the collage I added:
punched geometries, pieces cut from a pattern transparent paper
with baubles and those spirals and the two gold trees, from a
wrapping paper.
 

Proiectul  este realizat pe un carton cu model de iarna.
In jurul unui pentagon, am utilizat banda dublu adeziva
pe care am turnat 'catifea' pudra mai multe culori si pe
o parte am turnat sclipici. Restul elemetelor sunt o parte
perforate, taiate dintr-o pagina transparenta cu model, iar
bradutii aurii apartin unei hartii de impachetat.

I am curious if you know another way of using this powder.

Day 24 - U

Beccy's Challenge - Day 24 - Letter U My Unicorn

The Day 24  for the November Challenge on Beccy's place.
Ziua 24 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

For this letter I used again a unicorn. The image is from a coloring book.
I printed the image and bonded on a white cardboard. I created again a pattern
in bargello style, in blue, using it for a frame around  the unicorn.
Top and bottom is shiny watercolor. On the image I used glitter pens, crayons
and foam snow. Some glitter is also around the image.

Imaginea cu unicornul provine dintr-o carte de
colorat. Am tiparit-o si lipit-o pe carton alb.
Am creat o rama in nuante de albastru, stil
bargello, sus si jos este acuarela, iar pe imagine
am folosit, pixuri stralucitoare si zapada spuma.
De jur imprejur am mai pus niste sclipici.

Day 23 - B&W+1

I used a few times this idea of dendritic technique. I like it a lot.
I had a pattern in black and white, so I used it this time, adding in some
areas, gold color.

Imaginea este realizata prin tehnica dendritica.
Fiind in alb si negru, s-a potrivit pentru ziua de 23.
Am adaugat putin auriu, pentru o a treia culoare.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 22 - Letter T Triangles with trees

I was not sure about the final look.  In the first one I have the impression that the
time has stopped. In the second one it passes.😊
It's a simple project: On a white carboard there are bonded two triangles with
a Christmas pattern, a gear element and a holographic tape on two laterals.
For coloring I used  watercolors in the center, a gold marker near the triangles,
shiny pens for lines and some glitter.

Este un proiect simplu: pe un carton alb am lipit doua triunghiuri
dintr-o pagina cu model tematic, o roata dintata si o banda
adeziva holografica. Pentru colorare am folosit acuarele,
marker auriu, pixuri stralucitoare si sclipici.

Day21 - S

Beccy's Challenge - Day 21 - Letter S A napkin with snowflakes

Ziua 21 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

This time I use a napkin with many snowflakes and I tried to use the ideas
from the tutorial presented at day 16.
It was much better in relation with the 'wrinkles'. Not perfect, but I think
because of me. I should have been wait to dry before appling the second layer
of glue. But I did not wait enough.😊
Still, it looks nicer the experiment. In addition I added stickers with hearts
and baubles and some pink glitter.

Am folosit tutorialul din ziua 16 pentru a lipi un servetel
cu model de fulgi de zapada. A fost mai bine in ceea ce
priveste cutele. Putea fi si mai bine daca asteptam sa se
usuce inaintea celui de-al doilea strat de lipici. Am adaugat
stickere inima si globuri si niste sclipici.

Day 20 - R

Ziua 20 a provocarii lunii Noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

On a white cardboard painted with a shiny pale red, are bonded:
a frame in the bargello style, a shaped tree from a pattern transparent paper,
stickers and a punched snowflake.
On the bottom is foam 'snow.  I added some glitter in the snow and as dots
on the background.
The transparent paper was sufficient thick. I wanted to embossed it as you
can see, but this was a mistake, because the edge bended, cauzing problems
when I bonded it. It was not the proper material for embossing.
Now I know!😊

Pe un carton alb pictat cu rosu deschis si stralucitor am lipit:
o rama in stilul bargello, un copac dintr-o pagina cu model,
transparenta, doua stickere si un fulg perforat. m adaugat
zapada spuma si niste sclipici in zapada si sub forma de puncte.
Am embosat pe langa copac, insa hartia fiind groasa, marginile
s-au indoit si am avut probleme la lipire.
