TC2024 (3)- Ianuarie - 'La indigo'

Niko ne provoaca la Transformarile Creative ale anului 2024 (TC2024).
Materialele reciclate vor face parte  din proiectele noastre, in moduri diferite fata
de utilizarile obisnuite. Sper ca si ele vor fi bucuroase sa se joace cu noi.
In luna ianuarie  se lucreaza cu 'hartie de impachetat'.
Tema a doua este: 'La indigo'.

Modelul oferit a fost:

Incep cu o marturisire. Inainte de a vedea tipurile de subiecte postate de Niko,
inmugurise o idee noua pentru anul in curs. Ca in paralel cu imaginile descoperite
pentru diferitele jocuri, sa imi fac curaj pentru un exercitiu de a picta sau macar schita
una dintre ele. Asa ca atunci cand am citit ideea indigoului, m-am bucurat mult, de
parca mi-ar fi venit in intampinarea ideii.😊

Acum sa povestesc despre copia aproximativa a braduletului.
Dimensiunea generala: 10.5 cm x 15 cm. 'Rama' rosie executata dintr-o punga
de cadou, are latimea de 1cm. Am folosit acuarele, acrilice, creioane, markere si un
singur sticker pe post de stea.

Cateva detalii despre prelucrarea hartiei de ambalaj, ca asta mi se pare mai
interesant.
Mi-am taiat doua benzi, initial de 3 cm, pentru ca prima idee a fost sa ramana o
margine de 1.5 cm, insa m-am razgandit. Le-am motolit destul de mult si apoi
le-am desfacut. Vazusem la un moment dat metoda. Mi-am facut o solutie aurie
(acrilic auriu in apa) si am pus-o intr-un recipient pulverizator si am dat peste
benzi.  Cu o pensula am intins sau eliminat surplusul de apa. Apoi le-am lasat
sa se usuce. Scopul exercitiului este ca liniile de indoire sa se aureasca si chiar
si toata suprafata sa devina usor sclipitoare.
Hartia insa a fost destul de buna, asa ca liniile de indoire nu au fracturat rosul.
Insa chiar si asa, mi-a placut efectul final. Dupa uscare, am calcat benzile puse
in hartie de copt. Apoi le-am decupat pentru contur si le-am lipit.

A funny friend, full of lights!

This project is my entry for:
'December Challenge' - on Beccy's  Place;

The project is based on the giraffe included in Beccy's creation, 'Merle set'.

My card has three layers. The base is a cardboard, stock size, a page with
a pattern created with the air brush over a wood tree decoration and the printed
image, shaped accordingly, to enter inside the tree.
For coloring I used pencils, markers and gel pens. Around the tree there are a lot
of snowflakes!

Felicitarea mea are trei straturi: o baza, carton obisnuit de
felicitare, un model creat prin sprayere  peste un copacel de
lemn si imaginea tiparita si decupata pentru a se potrivi
pe fundal. Am colorat cu markere, creioane si pixuri cu gel.
In fundal sunt 'fulgi de zapada'.

Beccy's Challenge - Day 1 - Letter A Abstract with salt

The Day 1  for the November Challenge on Beccy's place
Ziua 1 a provocarii lunii noiembrie, pe site-ul lui Beccy.

At the challenge from September I told you about a tehnique I discovered using
salt. I did also a second trial, but this time with fine salt.

Al doilea test folosind sarea, de aceasta data cea fina.

Being only a test, the shape is random,  with no special look.
I used this experiment for the letter A, creating an  abstract card.
You can see in the next images the steps for coloring:
a shiny silver background, a metalic blue, some stickers for a supplementary
decoration, shades from a blue marker and finally some pale gold acrylic.

Pasii pentru colorare se pot vedea in mozaicul anterior:
argintiu stralucitor pentru fundal, albastru metalic,stickere,
umbre cu un marker bleu si in final auriu deschis

The central image is based on Beccy's creation -  'Christmas bauble', but is not
quite accurate because is hand drawn (not printed)!
Imaginea globului am preluat-o de pe site, dar nu e tiparita, asa ca veti observa diferente. 

I wanted to experiment a special way of doing a card, by having two paper sheets 
that  are imbedded and a third one as a cover with a cut-out, through which 
you can see the other two. I saw this kind of technique on a bought card and not 
in a tutorial, so I do not know its name! 
Modelul este experimental, urmarind nu un tutorial ci o alta felicitare. Doua parti
se intrepatrund iar prin decuparea celei de-a treia se pot vedea imaginile de pe
primele doua. 

 Dimensions of the three layers (in cm.) - 1) 17 x 24; 2) 16 x 12; 3) 17 x 16.
 In the original design, the first and the third layers were not  separated. 
 But I did not have this dimension of board, so I improvised.
 You can observe the cutting lines on the first two layers, that allowed the
 movement. 
 Liniile de taiere ale primelor doua cartoane permit miscarea relativa intre ele.

On the dark blue sheet is drawn the bauble (with gel pens and acrylics colors)
and on the first layer there are the celebration words. These ones and all the
other embellishments are thin stickers. 
Pe coala albastru inchis este desenat globul ( cu acrilice si carioci cu gel) iar pe 
primul carton sunt aplicate cuvintele. Acestea ca si toate accesoriile sunt 
stickere autoadezive subtiri. 
 

The third layer - the cover - has a cut-out (~7cm. x 12cm) and is bonded with
a both sides self adhesive strip (on right, bottom and backward areas). 
Al treilea carton cu decupare, este fixat cu banda dublu adeziva in partea dreapta,
cea de jos si si spate.

The red decorative adhesive strip is on the edge of this layer, to stay more pressed.
The small Christmas tree from the back is also a sticker.
Pe spate, banda adeziva decorativa este pusa pentru a fixa mai bine cartonul cu decupare.
Bradutul este tot un sticker.

So, this is my project. I wanted to do this experiment, but a second experience
will be reproduced with less cutting lines...!  In 2020, I presume! :)
Am vrut sa fac acest experiment, dar il voi repeta doar simplificat, cu mai
putine linii de taiere! Sper ca la anul!
