This project is my entry for:
'September Challenge' - on Beccy's Place;
My project is based on Beccy's creation: 'Betty bird'.
I discovered a technique of creating faux rice paper. I made some tests
with different materials and I used for my bookmark two of them:
the beige one, bonded around the printed image, is from a wrapping
paper very thin and the blue one resulted from a piece of lace curtain.
What it's interesting, on the back of materials after using the process,
it is formed a film, due to the glue, thin but consistent.
The base is a normal cardboard and the bird is colored with pencils
and gel pens. Around it there are accents of gold from a marker.
A new bookmark for an old book or a new one...

It was so fun to do it! And I was happy I could use my experiments.
