This time is a sea-horse

This project is my entry for:
'June challenge' - on Beccy's  Place;
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional Purple';

 

For this project I used the sea-horse - a Beccy's creation, from a
'smooth seas' set.  What is around the image, I did using a
program, called tuxpi.

And the same project with more purple, added in the same program.

 

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- three bonded layers, the white one has the printed image;
- some shades were obtained with colors from pads, around the sea-horse
  and on the blue base;
- for coloring the sea-horse I used bright markers and powder colors
  with a  heat embossing process;
- the random lines from the background were obtained with a gold marker
  and a green one.

Un proiect relativ simplu, din trei straturi lipite,
pe cel alb fiind tiparita imaginea; pentru colorare
am utilizat culori din tusiere, markere stralucitoare
si pulbere colorata pentru embosare la cald, pe calut;
pentru liniile aleatoare de fundal am folosit
marker auriu si verde.

A bookmark with pink

This project is my entry for:
'May challenge' - on Beccy's  Place;
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional Pink';

This time I used the next image, created by Beccy, from the
'Feathered Friends set'.

 

Materials and technique:
Materiale si tehnici:

- two bonded layers: a grey one (dim. 7.5 cm x 15 cm) painted with pink acrylic
  and a white one, on which the image is printed and which is perforated with
  a hobby puncher on a lateral; on the bottom a perforated piece is added;
- the shiny pink pieces are bonded also; (they are from a corrugated cardboard);
- for coloring I used pencils, markers and acrylics;
- a thread is added for an easy use.

Semnul de carte este format din doua straturi lipite: unul intial gri
si vopsit in roz si cel alb pe care am tiparit imaginea, perforat pe
lateral si la care am adaugat o banda tot perforata; bucatelele
stralucitoare, tot lipite, provin dintr-un carton ondulat;
pentru colorat am folosit creioane, carioci si culori acrilice;
pentru o utilizare usoara am adaugat un fir suport.

April Challenge

Shiny fantasy with yellow

This project is my second entry for:
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional Yellow';

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- on a yellow cardboard (card stock), I sprayed with my new toy (the airbrush pen)
  through a candle cap;
- the shiny elements are from three different materials: embossed  cardboard,
  holographic cardboard and a holographic tape.
- on the top and and bottom edges there is sparkle powder on a self adhesive tape
  both sides;
- in addition I used a gold marker for the rays. 

 

Pe un carton galben am pulverizat culoare printr-un capac
de lumanare; am lipit elemente stralucitoare provenind din
trei tipuri de materiale: un carton embosat auriu, un carton
si o banda adeziva cu efecte holografice; pe marginile de sus
si jos am presarat sclipici pe o banda dublu adeziva;
cu un marker auriu am completat razele.

A symbolic Easter Egg

This project is my entry for:
'April challenge' - on Beccy's  Place;
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional Yellow';

This project is based on the image 'Flannel Flowers', a Beccy's creation!

 

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- two bonded layers project, both white, on the shaped one the image is printed;
- as  a new technique for creating the background I used an airbrush pen set;
  (very funny to use for kids...😊)
- for other colors it's a combination of markers, pencils, brush pens.

Proiect compus din doua straturi albe; pe cel oval
imaginea este tiparita; fundalul este realizat cu ajutorul
unui kit 'airbrush', simpatic foarte; pentru celelalte
culori am folosit  markere, creioane, pensule, carioci.

Spring is in the air!

This project is my entry for
'March challenge' - on Beccy's  Place;
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional green';
Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - 'A project with a bunny'.

The central image of this project is from Beccy's site, 'Ballerina Bunny'.

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- three bonded layers cardboard project: a green base, a white layer
  with a pattern created using  an embossing folder (EFE007) and
  the  last one with the printed image and shaped accordingly;
- for coloring I used usual tools: brushes, brush pens, gold marker,
  glitter markers, pencils.
 

Felicitarea este formata din trei straturi lipite: o baza de carton
verde, o alta alba embosata si pe ultima pe care am tiparit
imaginea iepurasului si am ajustat-o pentru zona centrala;
pentru colorare am folosit obisnuitele creioane, carioci, pensule.

A special watch

This project is my entry for
'February challenge' - on Beccy's  Place and for
More Mixed Media Challenge - 'Anything goes with optional red'

The watch of beautiful and powerful words!
Ceasul cuvintelor frumoase si puternice!

Sometimes, broken objects give me strange ideas. Like this repair using
Beccy's creation:  'Le Soleil'.
Cateodata, obiectele defecte imi dau idei ciudate. ca aceasta reparatie utilizand
o creatie a lui Beccy.
 

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- the round board  has  18 cm. dia.
- a white napkin is bonded on it, with dedicated glue for this technique,
  after the white painting;
- the printed image was central bonded;
- for numbers and words I used  markers black and red.
- red and gold markers were used for some accents inside the image and
  for marking the 'hours'!

 

Cartonul rotund are 18 cm; pe el este lipit un servetel
cu tehnica specifica; imaginea tiparita este lipita central;
pentru numere si cuvinte am folosit carioci: negru si rosu;
rosu si auriu le-am folosit pentru imagine si punctarea 'cifrelor'.

Aceasta este tot! Un ceas special continand cuvinte frumoase!

Doodling around a Fairy

 This project is my entry for 'January challenge' - on Beccy's  Place.

 
This image is based on a creation received from Beccy, "Fairy on Snail".

Materials and techniques:
Materiale si tehnici:

- a project from two layers: the base is a white embossed cardboard, on which
                                       is bonded the printed image, also on white background;
- the yellow color was obtained with a pad;
- around the printed image, I added a little bit of 'doodling', obtained with
  fine liners pens and shiny markers;
- the central image is colored with pencils with some heat embossing accents.

Proiectul are doua straturi: o baza alba embosata pe care am lipit
imaginea tiparita; galbenul este obtinut prin tusare; in jurul imaginii
printate am adaugat un model prin tehnica 'doodling' utilizand carioci
subtiri si markere stralucitoare cu gel; imaginea centrala este colorata
utilizand creioane si zonele stralucitoare prin embosare la cald.

This is the idea for January Challenge.
I hope the Fairy liked a little bit my doodling...
